Atmosphere Capital is a partnership founded in 2017 by CIO & Portfolio Manager Felipe Mattar with proprietary capital.
After more than two years dedicated to research and development of investment strategies in global equity markets, exclusively operating with proprietary resources, the strategy as it is was consolidated in 2020. In 2021, following a year of refining its execution, we opened the fund to third-party investors.
Driven by a well-established strategy focused on developed markets, predominantly in the United States and Canada, our objective is the pursuit of alpha generation. We strive to consistently maximize performance and control risk, at the same time being uncorrelated to most market indicators in a highly targeted manner.
With a focus on equity instruments, we have the flexibility to invest across different asset classes in highly liquid markets, with sector coverage aligned with the expertise of our management team and focused on Energy, Industrials, Infrastructure, Materials, and Utilities.
We construct resilient portfolios that are uncorrelated with major international indices through active position management and the implementation of protective structures.
