Quantitative and Statistical Analysis
Internally developed Quantitative and statistical tools developed over the years based on the team's in-depth sectoral knowledge, adding greater accuracy to asset selection process.
Deep Fundamental Analysis
To make a difference in competitive markets, it is essential to operate on sectors with teams´s differentiated expertise and knowledge. As such, Atmosphere operates in a limited number of sectors, providing higher quality sector assessments and optimizing intra-sector allocations.
Active Management
Our analyses, portfolio management, and monitoring are dynamic. We are constantly tracking sectoral and individual asset performances to ensure that our long and short positions, as well as our protection and neutralization strategies, align with the returns we aim to provide to our investors.
Manager-to-Analyst Depth
Here, everyone "speaks the same language." The portfolio manager and analysts have a comprehensive understanding of the covered sectoral chains, ensuring in-depth discussions and debates.
Low Correlation with Market Indices
Due to the active management of our long and short positions, we exhibit low correlation with major local and international asset classes.
Risk Control
We understand that effective risk control is fundamental to delivering consistent results, and in developed markets, we find a greater variety of instruments. Coupled with our in-depth knowledge of the sectors in which we operate, this allows us to construct a more balanced portfolio and, consequently, better sizing and management of risk.

Bottom-up Analysis
Here, our team engages in the bottom-up analysis process of covered companies. With in-depth knowledge of the sectors we operate in, we conduct financial, strategic, and market positioning analyses that support portfolio positioning and asset selection, whether in a long or short position.
Qualitative Analysis
As a result of discussions between the portfolio manager and analysts, companies with the best value arbitrage opportunities are selected for modeling.
Sectorial Chains Analysis
In addition to the results of micro-level analysis, we carefully examine the specifics of the covered sectors to define the allocation strategy and the optimal position´s size. This aims to maximize both individual and sectoral returns, as well as identify the best protections for the portfolio.
Portfolio Construction
After weekly forums with in-depth discussions on covered companies with investment potential, the portfolio manager shortlists the assets that will compose the portfolio, considering the potential returns resulting from individual, sectoral and thematic exposures.
Risk Control and Factorization
Subsequently, the porfolio manager analyzes the portfolio considering more than 50 micro factors, weighing the market and sectoral risks to which they want to be exposed or not. As a protective measure, a variety of over 90 instruments, including ETFs and thematic baskets of stocks, in addition to traditional market instruments, are utilized.
